If you notice a puddle of engine oil starting to form under your vehicle, be sure to check your camshaft and crankshaft seals for breaks. This seal ensures that the camshaft or crankshaft will not leak engine oil during engine operation, keeping your engine lubricated properly.This is the updated PTFE seal lip design, with no spring located behind inner sealing lip. Proper installation instructions must be observed to ensure proper seal & to prevent premature failure.Installation tips:Surfaces MUST be clean & completely dryDO NOT use any oil or grease on sealing surfaceTo ensure proper seal, motor should not be operated for at least 4 hours after installation. This allows the PTFE sealing lip to be evenly positioned around the camshaft.
